Invercargill vs Steward Island

After Dunedin we continued our travels South, but to different locations; me to Invercargill and Ted to Steward Island.

Some of you may know that Ted and I did go to Steward Island back in 2016 and the boat ride from Bluff to Oban was traumatic for me, so I passed this time around and decided to stay in Invercargill and chill - in comfort!

As you can see below there is a Starbucks here, so I was happy - the worlds southern most Starbucks …

From the yellow picture you can see the arrow is where I am and the little block dot below the arrow is where Ted is ‘Oban on Steward Island’ … He is there birding this weekend so the nest post will be filled with bird pics ….
