The Wellington Zoo

If there is a zoo in any town we visit anywhere in the world rest assured Robert will convince Ted to go to it … I just love zoo’s.

This one was small, but had a great layout and the enclosures were all a good size and keen to represent the natural surroundings for each animal.

A few animals that were a highlight were; the little blue penguin, the squirrel monkey, the sun bear (the only bear in all of New Zealand), a Kea, with nuts in his beak, and a photo of a bad driver lol

We had a fun afternoon at the Wellington Zoo the day before we headed to the South Island and our first stop Nelson, NZ.
